Thailand has not only become a hub of the digital content industry in the region but also presents the energy and spirit of Thailand to the world – Thailand’s Soft Power.

The COVID-19 pandemic presented challenges to many industries worldwide. Our support for the creative economy was more important than ever. We adapted to the situation and used online, virtual, and hybrid events to maintain an international presence. Thailand’s cultural identity and creative spirit are raising Thailand’s Soft Power internationally and bringing economic opportunities.

There are six core areas which we identified as powerful representations of Thailand’s Soft Power, and which will be highlighted for promotion by the Department of International Trade Promotion in 2022. One of these is the digital content industry.”
